uMenu is an app for foodies and local explorers designed to help users get out of the house and have fun! By encouraging “yapping” which is basically a tweet attached to a location, people who use the app can see all of the activities around them by seeing what other people are “yapping” about. Post types include the yaps, photo posts, video posts, and gallery posts. The latest features include “event posting” so anyone who wants to promote an upcoming event can simply post a yap with a time stamp which will then display a countdown clock under the yap. As we begin getting users we hope to also partner with restaurants to further grow the app.
